INTRODUCTION
Ūnane is played on a rectangular board initially filled with a checkerboard pattern of black and white stones.
GOAL
Have only one group of your stones on the board.
PLAY
Either move to capture an orthogonally adjacent enemy stone, or remove one of your own stones which has no orthogonal adjacencies with enemy stones.
DESIGN NOTES
Ūnane was inspired by the ancient Hawaiian game of Kōnane, also known as Hawaiian Checkers.
