Banlist Discussion!

I’m not an arena player and mostly play async with friends/casual players so not sure I qualify as a “genuine” player, but I’d also like to see Guest Room unbanned. I think it’s a fun and healthy card to have in the pool despite being strong, and it’d admittedly be a pleasant state of affairs to have no bans from the E deck.

I think guest room needs a functionality change to not let you play the 3rd person the round you play it if it were to be unbanned, with that it's far too easy to dump food into the card in round 4 effectively setting you up to control the pace of the game from that point onward.

We can't change how cards work here, we just implement the physical game. (Interestingly, the original card on play-agricola worked in exactly that way. For some unknown reason it got buffed before being published.)

Shall I add you to the "keep banned" pile?

After seeing it in some no banlist games, I think I prefer having Guest House banned. The tempo of the cards is just fairly nuts.

Would it be possible to have cards tenatively unbanned? For example have it in for say ~2 weeks and reassess the situation? Because if the change is not inherently say a season long I think it's better to try it out when its nearly 60:40 in favor, if the change has to last for a while though I agree that leaning to keep the status quo seems favorable.

Obviously keep banned... If you want to play with crazy good card just play without the ban list. pinder_tron is #1 ranked player and still playes a lot of games without ban-list. So you can definielty play around all cards if you really want to (I rather not).

But the card is broken, you get a 3rd FM that costs less to feed then a regular FM, and you get a grow and a room build (for -1r -1w) and a free Adoptive Prents... all on a minor...

It's not fun to play against as you can get 2 actions in a row too...

If you love OP cards, just play without the banlist IMO =)

Would be nice to be able to have discussions about individual cards without having to potentially defend our position against the unproductive argument that “if you don’t want this banned then you must like OP cards and should just play no-banlist games”.
