First player at the start of the game

Hi,

Sorry this is probably something really simple i am missing, but i can't find who is gonna be the first player at the start of the game.
That would influence the choice of my starting tiles, but i have to chose a safe choice with lots of corns everytime because i only see the first player after everybody has chosen their 2 tiles.
Or is this how the game is supposed to work ?

I don't know for a live game, but when I open a replay I see the starting player token in some player's panel before the tiles are chosen. For example, here you're first: https://boardgamearena.com/archive/repl ... s=38923250

Ah on the replay i see it as well but when i was playing this game, i wasn't able to see the first player token during the starting tiles selection...

Edit : I started a new game to check that and i was able to see the first player immediatly. I might have been blind haha.
