Why did I fail in single-player mod?

Post by Xyralith »

I completed all my B‑tier objectives and one A‑tier objective, earning 121 points, yet at final scoring, 126 points were deducted. Typically, winning only requires finishing one B‑tier and one A‑tier objective—this doesn’t make sense.
I thought I’d done my best in single-player, but the final score left me puzzled.

Solo mode requires TWO things to win.
1) Completing at least one objective in each row.
2) Getting at least as many points as all points listed in red on all the A and B objectives that you completed.

So it sounds like you scored 121, but the red values on the A and B objectives you completed added up to 126, so you were 5 points short of a victory.

Thanks, I get it now. I thought the more targets you completed, the better, so I lit up all the B objectives—though that was certainly no easy feat. It sounds a bit counterintuitive, but it makes sense; I just hadn’t fully grasped the rules.
