What's this message from? Is there a setting somewhere that I can't find?

You can set karma filters on games so that you will not be matched with players below a certain reputation. On the Play Now page which you should be using to enter games (see my signature), it's under the gear icon > Show Advanced Options > Player's Reputation for each game if you have Automatic matching on and under the really inconspicuous "Restrict table access" link after you created a table in Manual matching mode. If you're using the single game lobby you click on the door icon to the right of the Number of Players selector and it's under Reputation.

I'm familiar with "Restrict table access", but I thought that would prevent people from joining. It looks like this is kicking players out after they have joined.

Sounds like Player A has a restriction, for example "I do not want to play with anyone below 50% Karma", and has set the system to finding a table for them. They join the table, then Player B joins who is below 50% karma. The system sees that Player A has set a preference to not play with Player B so it removes Player A from the table and finds a different one for them.

I thought that too, and I'm pretty sure that how it is.

I had same message few times in The Gang too, so I think that is bug of some sort. I had it with table without restrictions.

Now when I think of that, maybe it has something to do with auto-joining feature used by many players, one from certain game page (I myself use LOBBY). Maybe other player that joined your table, matching your restriction, has different level or karma restrictions at his auto-searching feature, that make 3rd player able to join your table, because he meets yours but not one second player, so both of them can't play same table, and one of them is kicked.

Hope i wrote that understandable.

I've seen that several times. I think it's just a glitch in the system, maybe a race condition, as it should never happen: if there is an incompatibility, the last player to join should just not have been allowed to join.

Interestingly, they don't check for "incompatibilities" when someone is invited, it just bypasses everyone else's restrictions.
