Should you be able to see how many cards your opponent buys?

Personally, i think this information should be revealed after you've decided what cards to keep.

Thanks for posting about this, I have wondered about this. I don' t have a physical copy of the game and I haven't read the rules closely. I have seen some videos - some in real life tournaments make everyone secretly pay for their cards and then everyone reveal at once how many cards they bought and then, presumably, take the cards they bought into their hands at the same time.

I would prefer this be hidden and then simultaneously revealed.

I do believe that makes the code and the game log a bit of a hassle. We would have "unconfirmed actions", which creates extra empty moves in the game log and game replay.

I was wondering about this too. Seems unfair that one player can wait and see what the other keeps before making his décision.

Yes, you can see how many your opponent bought if they do it before you do.

I can see that my opponent buys 2 cards before I commit to my purchase.
$6 would be 2 cards.

The rule book does not address this, if I recall correctly. In the physical game, I could see a scenario in which nobody wants to declare first.

With the digital implementation, we could make it hidden until after all players have decided. Is this something we should look into? I wonder whether there is an open suggestion report in the forum. I'll take a look.
