Reduce luck by increasing board cards

Post by Marci 80 »

What do you think, wouldn't it be better to have more board cards available to choose from?

Maybe just 4 instead of 3 for each row?
Maybe just an option for normal games?

I would love to test a version like this <3

If I were to change the rules, I'd allow to spent as many keys as you like in order to change the market.

This site isn't run by the creators of the game. They can't change the game unless a different version or expansion actually exists.

Also, the game is not that luck based. Even the expansion is pretty skill based considering how high the scores are this Arena season.

It's a game about luck mitigation.
When you take a card that relies on other cards, that is what you are contemplating; Can this be done, with all the other cards that do their other things as well.

Rather than blaming your luck, you should instead examine your luck mitigation skills. Certain cards and requirements make it easier to navigate later selections, etc. Maybe the reason why some of the 'weaker' cards that you perceive are not actually that weak.

In the extreme, if you can take a card knowing you can fulfill the requirements as you please, then you are playing a completely different game.

Making narrow choices while trying to balance everything is the game.

You have a key, now you have a choice of 6.
