Arena game format votes by gurus - If equality which format taken ?

It is the last week for the gurus to votes about a format for the future arena of each game.
Only the best choices of format are kept for this last week.
If 2 formats are kept (the current one and a new) and the votes are at equality, which one win ?
- The current format
- The new format
- The format where more gurus have made vote (for and against)

Here are the texts that we can have for this last week of vote :
* If only the current format was proposed during the last 3 months of vote then it is :
"With your votes, you decided as Gurus to keep the current Arena format for next season. Thank you!". So the new arena format is already known.
* If there are at least 2 formats, then it is : "
Arena format change: you have one week to decide to keep current format or apply the suggestion.
It's time to vote!
Note: this is the second round of voting, only the top suggestion and the "Keep current Arena format" are available."

Looking the history of the arena of a game, I have found my answer : In case of equality, the current format will be the next format !

More strange : The number of votes made (shown) is not taken in account to give the win to the new format in case of equality !!!

That doesn't surprises me. Since whole voting logic favors current format, also ties are on that format favor.

In one of games this season all voted against that format, but since that was current one, and only one, this one still WON and will be next arena format. . or or

Isn't that just for if the tie is between the current format and a new suggestion? If several suggestions received more votes than the current format, it doesn't make much sense that the current format would be kept.

Isn't it more likely that the format that received the more votes is considered the loser? The higher the number of votes, the lesser ratio there will be between the votes for and the votes against.

And what message sends this system now? That being guru is meaningless anyway.
To make real change of format you need have a lot of supporters. 50 gurus for game, only 4 voted. And vote is only thing guru can do, so 46 gurus doesn't care if they are guru or not. And they have right. It doesn't change almost anything.

That was my hidden point here .

Not voting is a choice that affects, well, the whole result of a vote. If all the people who would have voted for a format decide not to vote, for whatever reason, then that format won't be chosen even though it may have been if people had voted. That's how voting works. Your voice can't be heard if you don't make use of it.

Or that was statement that ALL formats in current rules are bad, a voice to do something about that. That voice weren't heard anyway. Doesn't matter. Current system just ignored voice of those who cared enough to take part of vote. So what that systems says now?

Their voice was heard, as it showed in all the negative votes. Doesn't mean that this has any effect on the Arena season though. There is no specification anywhere that a game needs to be popular to have an Arena season. All games on here have one, whether you think they are good games or not.

But what do you expect the site to do about it? If all the formats of a game are bad, what can they do about that?
