Why do you lose 2x3 times more ELO when you lose a game than when you win? It’s kinda stupid. Especially when you are playing equal opponents.

Generally because the person saying that is making things up and it turns out the opponents weren't actually equally rated.

It warms my heart to know my kindness has helped another responder avoid getting strung along. :D Too many get caught up in posts because they never think to verify that the thing the OP said happened actually happened. It's a depressingly effective filter.
