Here's a question... Does any forum post on BGA have more replies than this?? And STILL no resolution!! Incredible!! They'll be banning us for talking about it soon...

There is not just one type of colour blindness, which may explain why for some things have improved, while for others it has worsened. Unfortunately, I belong to the latter group (my type of colour blindness is Deuteranope).

I love to play Ticket To Ride, but currently the Board Game Arena version is very hard to play for me, as I cannot distinguish between green and orange fields, green and red trains, and I even start to doubt whether I see pink or orange sometimes.

In that respect it is very frustrating for me that in games with 2 players, the game will by default use green and red trains (provided the Premium player has not chosen to play with some other colour, which is hardly ever the case in my experience).

i challenge the makers to download an app called CVSimulator to get an idea of what colour blind people actually see. And how different it is from what they see.

Is there any way to tag admins in forum posts if they're just flat out refusing to engage in any meaningful way with paying customers like on this EXTREMELY long post? Are requests for feedback/updates/solutions to issues something to be ignored? I'm extremely confused by this behaviour.

Chiming in as another user that *hates* the new graphic design and would love the option to play with the old art. Several other games allow this (Castles of Burgundy perhaps most prominently) and as a premium user and Lost Cities being a premium game I see no reason why this can't be rectified.

It's been that way for years. Even bugs can last for years with hundreds of users complaining and they simply ignore it all.

I find that mind-boggling. It shows a complete lack of care for paying customers. It's obviously solely a numbers game for them - if it's still turning a profit, customers' concerns are irrelevant. Speaks volumes about them as an organisation.

Posting another update to state for the record that I am still waiting for a resolution to this game-breaking issue. I am incredibly frustrated by this outcome and the continued silence by BGA staff in response to the overwhelming feedback received from users. If you are a member of staff, please contact me immediately. It is absolutely heartbreaking to consider that this could be the reason that a classic and beloved game is destroyed forever.
