Hegemony of Faith is a card and party game for 4-8 players. Each player's main goal is to collect the most Believer cards and become the only winner.
One of the main features of Hegemony of Faith is that players are never eliminated from the game. The game includes surrender and temporary cooperation mechanisms. When a player has no Believer cards at the start of their turn, they must surrender to another player and become a Follower in that player's sect. However, this allegiance is not necessarily sincere.
Followers can still secretly rebuild their strength and look for a chance to come back. The game also includes betrayal mechanisms: after becoming a Follower, players may use specific Skills or Action cards to betray their Leader and take Believer cards from them. Of course, there are also ways for Leaders to defend against betrayal.
In the game, players may experience both sides of religious power: leading a sect, managing Followers, forming temporary alliances, plotting betrayal, and trying to become the most powerful sect Leader.
The game is now available in Alpha and feedback is very welcome, especially about rules clarity, UI readability, mobile display, and any blocking issues during play.
