Almost impossible to win if you're the marshal

I feel it's so difficult to win if you're the marshal. Maybe I'm not playing well so if you have any tips haha...

I have won sometime but it was pure luck and once the fugitive plays the 42 card (if we still havent guess above 29), the marshal always end up with multiple choices doesn't matter what he does. So almost impossible to win or you're just lucky. I tried to pick up cards from the 29-41 deck at the beginning, it helps a bit maybe that's the best strategy ?

Guess there is another rule in the game to help the marshal or slow down the fugitive

Yes thank you! I must be missing something because the marshal has never won in our plays. Watched strategy videos and everything. Maybe it's different on bga idk

I usually start by narrowing down their options for the 4-14 range, then draw from the 29-41 deck to narrow their options in the final sprint. I rely on combinations and deduction to figure out the 15-29 range. See if that helps you.

I’ve won 80% of games so far, mixture of Marshall and fugitive. My Marshall tactic (which seems to work well) is draw mainly from the middle deck to cut off their main middle game, and guess just 1 hideout (or 2 if 1 is guaranteed). They either ending up passing several turns, or using a LOT of their cards to sprint (and if the do the second option, they get stuck in the third section because they won’t have any high cards yet)

ty guys. Drawing cards from the 15-28 or 29-41 decks at the very begining definitly helps a lot. I can confirm it now.

I have won several games using that technic.
