games that count points declare winner instantly

Since a couple days i've noticed in games that count points up at the end, it instantly says the name of the winner at the top of the screen before the counting started. Some examples of this for me are lost ruins of arnak, azul, stone age but i'm sure there are many more. Has this been changed on purpose or is it a bug? I think the old way is a lot more fun, now the excitement of the points being counted up is basically gone

Yeah, yet another change downgrading the site, without a need to even make a change.

Happens in all my games too; it is very weird and I dislike it.

I liked waiting for the upbeat "you win" sound or the sad "you lose" sound that occurred right after the points are tallied.

I also had a solo game that said "result: Win" even though in fact it was a loss.

In the past, I believe individual game developers could use API calls that allowed animation to finish before the game result shows up.

Maybe this has changed though, since I see several people mention it.

For me. It is happening for most games I play. Instant winner declared before points tally. Really bad. Loss of excitement. No winning or losing sound. Disappointing especially if away from tablet for a moment. Why no reply from bga on this. Wake up BalGArmor. Fix this. Especially declaring a winner before point tally. Ruins the end game. Lots being ruined lately. Why ?

There has been a recent UI change it seems (I don't know, buttons look different to me) and it is also causing the site to break when I attempt to zoom in, making it nearly impossible to use on phone. It might be related as this looks cosmetic as well, and feels like an unintended consequence.

Like other changes, a total rollback would not hurt, as well as a look into the process of testing changes before they roll out.

Argh! I was so happy when it started doing this! It was buggy the old way - so frustrating to have to wait like 60 seconds to find out who won.

Could this please be an option? I'm not a kid, I don't need artificial suspense.
