See starting player before selecting cards?

Is it possible to see who will be the starting player before selecting your purchases in light speed mode?

Nope, it's a 50-50 coin flip when players have the same amount of credits.

Thanks for the clarification. I had read that rule but had unexpected behaviour but now realise the other player mustn't have spent credits and I lost the coin toss.

There is also a tie-breaker, if players have same amount unspent - if Player A buys a Sector 01 card for 2G and has 13G remaining and Player B buys a Sector 11 card for 2G with 13G remaining, Player B *should* go first, since highest Sector card is supposed to be tie-breaker... but people have complained of a bug and don't know if it has been patched or how common the bug is.
