BGA implementation changes Economic Victory from original game?

Hi,

Was there any reason why the BGA implementation changed the Economic Victory from original game?
In the physical game: Economic Victory is (1pt) at any point during your turn have 5 cards in hand and discard 8 of each resource.
In the BGA version: Economic Victory is (1pt) at any point during your turn have 5 cards in hand and discard 10 of each resource.
