Some companies can be very stubborn about this. I suspect the decision makers have a sort of ego thing where they consider that what they are offering must be paid for. Capitalism is already bad enough as it is, when people can’t even do capitalism properly and spend resources on products that no one is gonna be able to use, it doesn’t help things either haha.
