Anyone else stuck before elite?

I’ve played countless games this arena season and feel cursed; terrible hands over and over. I’ve lost numerous games with more than -5 points, which hasn’t been the case in the “play” category! Sure, I’ve made some mistakes (still learning game) and have won some games, but the amount of bad luck is almost funny, and I’d be laughing if my elo hadn’t dropped so much. This is only my first full arena season, so I’m wondering is this normal? Are the arena games actually harder to win? Should I play normal games to try and boost my elo before coming back to arena? Or is it really just luck??

If you’ve played me and have insight or advice, I’d be grateful to hear your thoughts specifically, too. Always willing to learn!

I can tell you that we all had to go thia road where we thought the Game ist against us. Sometimes you have a streak of bad luck and you have to accept that there are Games that you simply cant win.
Believe me. The start ist simple luck. No system that depends in the ELO or whatever.
What you must do is to win the Games where the luck is even. Or you are a little behind.
I had a look at some of your Matches. e.g. 888168776 against lelie63
In round 2 you should have placed the 8 in the Corner because you knew that you will get the second 8 from your opponent. Free Turn. And the 4. In the Game you only got one of Them. One free Turn less. Thia was the differenfe between a tie and a win.
In General: so Not Always Take every tile from the table that you possinly can place. Think about If this tile helps you or if it reduces your Options. The Game is all about leaving Options for as many numbers as possible.

The game is called Lucky Numbers for a reason. You'll find players with a solid number of games going through rather decent sized ups and downs over time, even at the highest of the ratings. This luck factor is also why the top ratings for Lucky Numbers aren't very high. No matter how good you are, luck affects too much. With proper play you'll still have these struggles at higher ratings.
