The New Counterfeiters Expansion still doesn't solve Hoarding

It seems that bga has recently updated the new expansion of Splendor: Duel, which is the counterfeiters Expansion. I used two of my accounts to play a friendly game to test what is added. I have gone through all the purple new cards and all the new royals and I only found one card that can prevent the hoarding situation to happen - that is the one showed below. It requires a pearl and a glassware token to buy and it can turn a glassware token into a pearl. So even when your opponent holds all of the golds and pearls, you can still use glassware tokens as pearls. And there are four glassware tokens in total. However, if this purple card doesn't come out (note that there are 16 purple cards in total) or this card is purchased by your opponent,
you will still be completely controlled if your opponent take the hoarding strategy. Although there are other purple cards that maybe very powerful, it still doesn't solve the problem of hoarding as all other purple cards and new royals cannot compensate for the lack of pearls and golds - they just either enable the glassware tokens to be some color except pearl or they provide abilities that is not related to pearls.

I do test it by myself. I control all the pearls and golds and I also have the two most important purple cards, which enables me to turn a glassware token into a pearl and any other colour. In other words, I can now use the glassware token as a gold! And my opponent can do nothing without having this two purple cards. Now, I even don't need to use some tricks and it's so much easy to hoard. Without the expansion, I may use a gold to buy a 221 to get another turn and take the gold back. But now I just use the glassware token as a pearl and even though my opponent takes all the glassware tokens, he still could do nothing meaningful!
