Getting a game to private Beta

Post by Wad3inthewater »

Hello! I've been working on a BGA adaptation of a game that I'm in the process of self publishing.

Is it possible to move the game into the private beta before the the physical release assuming that everything on the checklist is covered? I'm aiming to go the kickstarter route so I'd ideally want to have the private beta open alongside the kickstarter launch.

I'm just looking to confirm the blockers on private beta and figure out how quickly I'd be able to get to that stage to invite a few people to test the game. Is there anyone who has already attempted something similar and can confirm the feasibility?

I don't think there is such thing as private beta. Usually it's private alpha, then public alpha and then beta which is available for all players on the platform. Anyway, I would say you need to send an email to publishers@boardgamearena.com to get the answer to that.

That's my mistake I meant private alpha!
