Manhunt: is it worth it?

I was wondering whether choosing not to guess above 29 is a good tactic, even if you've guessed all other numbers. That way, you can guess everything in the manhunt.

I think it can help to wait for manhunt on purpose if played the right way.

You can wait manhunt and use guesses to narrow low numbers possibilities:
Guess fully the low numbers below 30 .. if you have doubts ... so at the end you have only the big numbers to deduce
Example there could be a 2 and 1 in spot 1 but it is impossible to deduce 100% .. it may be worth a try .. and wait for manhunt so you deduce it right when playing manhunt later.

You can try to have a wrong guess to eliminate a big number.
Example try 39 .. if wrong it helps you to narrow possibilites after during the manhunt.
If right it is bad for you :/
