how to activate shove?

I'm enjoying the game, but I can't figure out how to active the 'shove' ability, which just cost me a victory ...

Am I missing something obvious?

I only had that skill few times for tests and that was some time ago. As far as I remember when you have it, and when it is possible to use, button "shove" appear in zones you can push zombies into. So just click that button in zone you want push zombies to.

Thanks that was what I was expecting to see ... I'll look again, and see if I just am misreading the way the skill works ...

I've had the same issue, two characters who have the shove ability, but no option to shove on either. I've checked the rules - open unobstructed zone, clear LOS, but ability not offered.

UPDATE: Just had a clarification from tarongot (thanks!): you have to reach the skill level for Shove on your character card in order for it to be unlocked as an action - my characters hadn't got there, hence no option.
