No. It says a lot about how at least one person asks for special dispensation EVERY SINGLE TIME they release one of these calendars and someone misses a day. I guarantee it's going to happen again this month.

Why, once again, did you not put the time zone and time when the day transitions? You used to a couple years ago. You already alluded to the fact that people are going to blame you for missing a day. Why give them any ammunition for their complaint?

Lol. Also once again it seems we'll ignore the fact that the entire southern hemisphere has inverted seasons

At least this time when you try to click on the next day early, it tells you they are using Paris time, and how many hours remain.

It should also have been mentioned here, of course, but that's a small improvement.

I hope we shouldn't play games without tutorials and only Fr/Ja rulebooks to achieve the badges

You don't have to play the games for these calendars. You just have to click on the calendar once a day.

Isn't all of the game development and maintenance done by volunteers, not by BGA itself?
Not quite so, as Tisaac has once said (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47136):

And there are probably at least ~30 ongoing freelance paid work currently I woud say.

I have opened the first box and got the trophy, but I can't see the "game of the day" in the box as it used to be in former years. That's strange.
