Weird translations

Post by Rukus McUallas »

I've just figured, that some "turns" from the Pole Mechanique track are translated into German as "Zug", as in turn of a game, not as in u-turn. Looking back, there were some other strange turn names for other tracks. Can we collect them here? It's not really a bug, and opening a bug report for every single term would be overkill.

I have corrected all that I could find by searching for "turn". Most of them were in Flaming GP, however I don't see the pole Mechanique track in the translation center. Do you have an exact name for one of corners?

Filling a bug report is usually not appropriate. Translations are up to the local community, not the developer, unless translations are not transfered from the translation centre to the game / the website.

And there is no need to collect the texts here, because you should be able to correct them yourself here https://boardgamearena.com/translation? ... cale=de_DE (since you have played the game at least 10 times and you have German and English in your profile).

Language is a source of misunderstanding. (Antoine de Saint-Exupery: The Little Prince) But it is also the source of understanding - it all depends on how you use it. :-)
