Looking for serious team

Post by tomaalex66 »

Hi everyone !

I got a very bad experience with "***" during a party. While we finished the mission, he continued to play and have fun like a 6 years old boy, destroying zombies. I couldn't stay it and leave the game even if I've been penalized...

So now, I would like to create a pool of players where we can get together to play with serious players.

Thank you all !
And see you soon on zombicide !

Edited - as a reminder: naming on forum = bad!

I have had some serious team play experiences with my group of Friends. A lot of those games were "nailbiters" and "down to the wire" ... the kind of experience that makes this game really cool and awesome if you are playing with the right people 8-)

So if you want to join my group, just Friend me and you can experience playing with some players that know quite well what they are doing in the missions... such that you don't have to give them instructions and can trust that they know the rules quite well.

Yes, even with such high quality player friends you must sometimes try to coordinate the moves on a turn by coordinating in chat ... especially on harder missions (I have friends I play with in hardest mode possible ... and some friends where we play with more relaxed options/rules) ... but they aren't going to "shoot you in the back" and "steal from you" and so forth ... they are generally pretty nice and competent players from around the globe.

Same here !
I'm a bit tired of giving instructions that are not read in chat or players doing weird stuff without explaining.
Count me in 😊

Here is an awesome example of some serious team work with a couple of my friends from Brazil -

https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=899996030

M23 on full hard mode (all options on).

Unfortunately, you can not see the chat on a replay like this ... but I would describe it as mostly minimal to a few times moderate (mostly just getting intense at a few critical points in the game).

Things of note -

4 Abominations killed
8 molotovs thrown
ONLY 4 doors opened! This is KEY!

There is nothing strategic about opening every door in sight just because you can. The most valuable door is a closed door. A door should only be opened when needed.

I hate it when players run around opening doors while encouraging others to. By only opening the doors you need when needed, it makes your positions more defensible as you can channelize zombies into ambushes, or just plain survive with your Survivor because you can anticipate the moves of the zombies better.

P.S. Something else to note -

Not a single players Actor took even a single hit of damage! ... The party was undamaged at the end!

... NO friendly fire instances, of course (we all know better than to shoot into a square with friendly Actor unless sniper/sniper weapon involved ... the only exceptions being a dire circumstance where the game WILL be lost unless the gamble is taken ... which should be a very rare circumstance)
