Why Is This A Separate Game?

Post by nervous-chicken387 »

Hello,

Why is vengeance a separate game and not just an variant for the regular flip 7 game? Its weird that it is separated. It is not a separate game. It is a variant of the original game.

If the color on the back of the cards was the same as regular flip 7 then you can add the decks together and play them in real life without noticing which one is which. You could even play with them together in real life if you really wanted to, although you would see the color on the back of the card (but still unaware if its a number or special card).

Thanks.

Or you could sleeve them with a thematic sleeve

It's likely due to the practical considerations of playing games in the physical world; imagine trying to separate the cards if you wanted to engage in standard games, for example – that would surely be incredibly confusing and cumbersome.

Now, I'm just making a guess on this, but I would strongly suspect that there are actually two main reasons why these specific cards were created and then subsequently released as distinct sets or products.

Initially, it seems that the game called "with a Vengeance" has been thoughtfully crafted with a specific focus on providing a challenging experience tailored for those players who are tackling the game's Hard Mode.

Secondly, given that the game's mechanics rely heavily on the new cards, it is absolutely essential to conduct a comprehensive testing process involving a Beta release. The primary purpose of this thorough evaluation is to carefully assess the balance of these new cards and ensure that their integration doesn't inadvertently introduce any unintended negative consequences or break the game's functionality.
