Game ended 5-7?

Rules say play to 12 but game ended with me having 5 points and my opponent having 7. Do the rules mean play to a total of 12 points and whoever has the most wins? I don't see how that would work in a >2 player game. Not sure if it's a bug or I don't understand the rules. Overall though I feel like the game basically plays itself and is not worth wasting time on.

Yea a game just ended for me where I won 6-0, very surprised it suddenly stopped. Does match more with the estimated timeframe though, if we had to go to 12 we'd still be goung after well over an hour I think. (as it is it was about 45 mins on normal I believe)

I am also trying to figure this out. I have had a game end 9-0. Another one where we had 3 players, end 7-4-2. Not sure where the 12 comes into play, would like some clarification on the rules. Is it number of rounds played?

In the bug reports someone said it's a BGA variant that it the trigger score is 6, not 12. But that's not said anywhere...
