Hello

Would it be possible in the future to get a color select option in chess games. When you play (especially with friend), it could be useful to give the possibility to each player to play white side (and... black side lol). As you know, it gives some asymetric game, so choosing would be great.

If playing with a friend, just choose to abandon the game collectively (no ELO change), and recreate the table until the colors are what you want.

To abandon the game: Click on the "leave table" icon (the rectangle with the arrow pointing away from it in the upper right), choose "Abandon game" from the pop-up window, and vote "yes".

yes I know that, but when you're unlucky you have do it several times, it's not practical, espcially in turn based games

Again, not optimal, but a solution for turn-based games would be to create 5 tables, and then abandon any that aren't the player color you want. The chances of all 5 of them being the way you don't want is, what, around 3% ?

Hi,

There is now a "Colors" option allowing the table admin to choose black for himself, so the player getting white in a random colors game can offer a rematch with opposite colors (if he wins )

Programmer could also create a STATE after setup with addactionbutton ... And choose your color, or select random... if two players want the same, let's random... but it's programmer to choose if he want to do
