Can we have an option to play without the auto win card?

I don't know what being on a phone or tablet has to do with anything. Are you saying you'd be OK with it if you were using a laptop?

It’s harder to see what other folks are doing when on a phone or small iPad. I’m not familiar with the PC interface. I (and many others) aren’t a fan of the card in any format.

Everyone who asks to dump the "You Win" card (UES ARMSTRONG 6279-D) should check out Table #895732233, which is a DOPE A.F. tutorial demonstrating how difficult it can be to win with this card and how respectable it should be when anyone pulls it off.

Hell, you can probably see for yourself by just looking at the attached screenshot. (Well, I attempted to attach one, at any rate...)

My man cequals2pir sets up just about the perfect engine for the ARMSTRONG and, while he comes close - oh, sooo close - it just does NOT happen. This is simply not the auto-win card some of y'all fear.

I'm not going to say he played it perfectly - personally, I would have chosen the arrows on Sector 09 when he chose the arrows on Sector 10, on the game theory the 10 arrows didn't help anyone else and buying 'em would have been sabotage (buying the 09 arrows so I could trigger my 08 and 10 sectors wasn't really sabotage, because it did help me)... but he could very easily have been sabotaged out of the 10 arrows that way, so maybe playing safe paid off better.

Also, were I in his position, I probably woulda bought something for 2 or 3 gold during the preliminary round, since there's rarely any need to overpay more than 14G for a Tier 3 card in the very first round.

Maybe what the small device players need is some special WARNING message when the "You Win" card has been purchased, and each time it's cubed? Maybe some special alert tone? If it's especially creepy, it might add to the game for all players!
