Twilight Imperium players, an update has been released with 3 changes you may want to know about. The first one is complex, but involves a rare situation.
1. Nullification Field and Minister of Peace have been updated per discussion with the publisher, Fantasy Flight Games. This only involves an interaction with the Thunder's Edge version of Warfare.
Imagine someone starts a tactical action using the Thunder's Edge version of Warfare. In response, another player uses Nullification Field or Minister of Peace to end the turn. On BGA, this resulted in a strange situation where other players did not get to use the secondary ability of Warfare, and the strategy card did not even exhaust because the turn ended immediately.
After discussion with the publisher, the new update causes only the tactical action inside Warfare to end, in this situation. Also, there are no more "after action" timing windows for the rest of the turn (both for the tactical action, and for the overall strategic action). No additional actions may be used.
However, the Warfare effect still fully resolves. The original player can still redistribute their command tokens, other players can still do the secondary ability, and Warfare still exhausts. You can also find a note about this change if you click the (?) help icon, then click the Implementation tab.
2. The endgame review screen is helpful when the game is over, so you do not need to load a replay to explore the endgame situation. However, players sometimes forget to click "Finish Game", and this runs the risk of someone being kicked for running out of time, neutralizing game results.
To avoid this, the new update allows you to reload the game page, if someone ran out of time at the "Finish Game" screen. If you reload the page, that player will no longer be active, so the game can end correctly.

3. Alarm bell buttons like this allow you to preemptively skip a secondary ability, if you are sure you want to skip it this round. However, some players may click these buttons by accident, leading to frustration when they miss the secondary ability.
To avoid this, the new update shows a dialog to warn about skipping the secondary ability. If you do not need this warning, you can turn it off by clicking the gear icon for Options, then using the bottom option in this screenshot:

As usual, please create bug reports if you have any problems with the new release. Thanks for playing!
