I wonder why you call this an "official announcement". Does this mean this is an extension officially supported by BGA?

That's a first. Which part do you find difficult to understand? I'm happy to help.

If you walk to the store to buy food and I order food delivery to my home, am I cheating for not walking like you? ;)
It's a service available to everyone, which you choose not to use. That doesn't make others cheaters.

It's official because it was posted publicly on the BGA forum for every BGA player to see that it's been released on the webstore and made available to everyone.
It was posted on 21 May 2025, which is 1 year and 3 months ago. Rest assured that the BGA admins have seen the post too and they have never opposed the use of the extension.

I just want to kindly remind everyone that I'm also a player, I like these games and the great job BGA have done with the website and I don't want to see them ruined by cheating, so I would never create something that breaks them.

That said, there are some new features coming live next week, along with fixes to some reported issues, so stay tuned and I hope you enjoy gaming with the extension ;)

Hello,

I just installed the "Guide Azul (BGA)" extension, and it isn't working quite as I expected—I’ve likely misunderstood something!

Specifically, when the "remaining tiles" option is enabled, the counters only update during the first round. After that, they stop updating and retain the same values for the rest of the game. When the "discarded tiles" option is active, the counters never update at all.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue ?

Details about my setup:
1) My PC runs Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS.
2) I just installed Chrome, but it isn't my default browser (I use Firefox and don't want to switch; I installed Chrome as a secondary browser and only launch it for BGA).

Thanks in advance for your replies.
