Crossroads cards

In the case of Crossroads cards, you have to choose between two cards. I place one of them on the board. Does the other one go into the discard pile, or could it appear again later during the game?

There is no 'other card' left over!

The cards in the center are only used to reveal numbers—you don't put the actual cards on your board. Instead, every player takes the matching wooden tile from their own rack and places that on their board.

During a Crossroads event, two cards are revealed in the center. Player A might pick the first card for their tile, while Player B picks the second card for theirs. Both revealed cards are processed simultaneously that turn and then both go to the central discard pile.
