Ultra speed games

I think many players deserves a new option in every game, ULTRA SPEED, because there so many who play really slow, and we need to wait because connection is not good or abandon game 20 more seconds to expel from the game. Must be an option 1 min or 1 min 20 seconds, and 10 additional seconds to expel. ULTRA SPEED VERY CLEAR WHEN U JOIN THE GAME.
In actual way has fox example 2.30 and take time and play at 1 min, clock in the second movement back to 2.15… so wait for them again, NOT FAIR for players who like fast speed.

There are so many slow players

Not that I care personally in any way, I only play correspondance. But this made me smile. Hard to take the existance of so many slow players as a good reason for adding ultra short games for the few quick players!

Slow players are the bane of my existence on this site!! I have premium so i can set my own tables, and i set them all to FAST but the fast is still sooo slow. And so many players will milk it for all the time. I will politely ask them to play faster and they will say something like " i am within my time limit". But that is because the timer resets too often!! aA the end of the game you can see that i took 5 minutes of thinking time and they took 18 minutes of thinking time. This should not be acceptable!!!

These slow players think the timer is there to give them that full time for each and every move, but it should be there only for extreme circumstances, a difficult play, etc. No one needs 1.5 minutes to choose a card in Sea Salt and Paper or Forest Shuffle. No one.

I think a lot of people are playing distracted, too. Watching tv, making dinner, eating ice cream, bathing kids, in an uber (these are all excuses i have heard). This is what turn-based is for. Or even NORMAL pace. If you can not commit fully to a game with undivided attention, you should not join a game labeled as "FAST" ever.

And BGA needs to make FAST actually mean FAST. A turn should be max 30 seconds, no more 1 minute and 30. Timer should not reset every move. Something needs to change.

There are so many slow players

Hard to take the existance of so many slow players as a good reason for adding ultra short games for the few quick players!

Pairing problem, the case being they keep running into them on their fastest available tables and want a time setting quick enough to make it a nonissue.

And they're right. They're allowed to use every second of the timer as they see fit. As long as they stay in positive time, they're doing nothing wrong. They can use the time to think about their move, or to pet their cat, or to play another game.

If every person did that in every move games that could be 12-15 minutes would drag into HOURS. They are taking advantage of the time, and it is unfair to the opponent who does not need that much time. I regularly spend 18 minutes of a 24 minute game just waiting on the other person. i mean i CONSISTENTLY take 1/3 to 1/5 the time of the other person. That is ridiculous, and THAT is why many of us are requesting a SUPER FAST mode. Hence why this post exists.... You pointing out that they are technically within their rights to drag out a game or play distracted is proving my point perfectly.

Players that are not multitasking or distracted deserve to play with other players who are also just as focused.
Fast thinkers deserve a (truly) fast option.

If that is not for you, so be it. You can play at a "normal" speed, or the current "fast" speed (that is not fast enough for us), or even turn-based. There are so many more options for slow thinkers. We are asking for the same consideration.
