Approaching the first goal as last player

Post by MrShingami »

It seems fairly common to sprint to that first ceo goal if you are one of the first players (whether it’s development or expert worker based). If you are the third player in ranked though, that is a lot of resources early and feels not really worth it later unless it happens to line up. How are other people handling that situation (or if you are first/second and happen to be boxed out, etc).

It is a good idea to approach that first goal - for example, the extra worker goal can be done turn 1 if you spend all your money. If i miss the timing on this, and two other people push that goal to the highest tier (4 workers), I instead leave that goal alone and focus on the other two.

The other two goals are connected - build stuff into your rockets and launch them multiple times. So achieving one naturally leads to the other.

If you see people focusing hard early on developments/workers, do the opposite and build out the spaceships and launch them early.

Test it out - play a game and forget that 'get a worker' and 'build a development' are actions and just focus on building and launching ships. Forget that goal exists and you will find success.
