I watched Age I of the first game you posted and I'm trying to be as nice as possible, but you really just gave your opponent everything they wanted. Great players may look luckier than others, but it's because they're great players and put themselves in favorable positions and avoid plays that do the opposite.

Re: Hidden luck bonus in the game algorithm
Thank you for your valuable comment, but my message was not about asking someone for analyzing my strategy in a particular game. I am trying to understand whether there is a hidden mechanism that would work in favor for premium/high-rating players or not. Besides, the described case (with the exact green card coming in the beggining of the second round) happend to me already 3 times today against three different players. So... Could you please write down your Personal Rating, Win Rate, total number of games, Arena Rating and the Type of Account (Normal/Premium) as in the message above?jjthejetplane246 wrote: ↑13 September 2026, 23:29 I watched Age I of the first game you posted and I'm trying to be as nice as possible, but you really just gave your opponent everything they wanted. Maybe that's exactly what you should analyse before saying you should win more against anyone. It's all about your strategy which is not good in most of your games.
5 games against VladKha
Win Rate - 80%

You WIL NOT be able to collect enough(for anything statistical significant) of your asked data just in this thread!! xDDVladKha wrote: ↑13 September 2026, 22:09I would prefer to have everything in a single message thread, instead of multiple clicking and jumping from one to another profile in the constantly changing ladder. However, if someone can dedicate their time to data collection, and can provide the required dataset, I would appreciate it.

please write down out of how many games people got THE EXACT right green in age 2 (assuming they started, had it on top and had only ONE science card built (?)) - for instance "in 3 out of 50 games that had that setup this happened" .....
Re: Hidden luck bonus in the game algorithm
That is indeed his point. The data is all there. You just have to gather it. Why do you assume someone else would do it for you.
This kind of thread pops up all the time in the forums. It's just so tiring. There's no evidence at all that premium members are getting an advantage. There is no use for BGA to do so, no way they can do it without people finding out, which would damage their reputation beyond repair.
Re: Hidden luck bonus in the game algorithm
I’ve noticed some oddities too. How can top-ranked players have 30 wins in a row? It’s mathematically impossible. Sometimes the cards just don't go your way at all, and winning becomes impossible.
Re: Hidden luck bonus in the game algorithm
You said it yourself: they are top-players.
Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes your strategy is better, sometimes your opponent makes some bad decisions... A lot of factors can explain that, you don't need to imagine some extra help from BGA.

Positive correlation between "good luck" and good rank? Really? Stop the press!
