Why are turn-based games adding me without my permission

I have had several times where turn-based Texas Bingo games were started without my doing it, between me and a second player (always a different one). I played them through, thinking that maybe it was converted from a real time one that I somehow timed out on without knowing it. Then I thought maybe I am in a Tournament, but no, I checked and I am not in any tournaments. Has this happened to anyone else?

You are in fact registered for this tournament https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=593459 and it still has two games to go before it's finished.
When registering for a tournament it does throw up a confirmation screen asking if you're really sure so it's not super easy to enter one without realising (unless you thought you were confirming something else). I'm fairly sure a third party can't add you to a tournament without your permission.
