Choose level preferences

I wish we could choose player level preferences in settings. I know that it's an option with some games. I really prefer not to play with opponents way more advanced than I. I learn very little and don't have fun. This game can be brutal and higher level players know all the tricks to trapping field meeples, stealing castles and the like. It becomes a futile game of watching myself get trounced. I would like to have more chances to play with folks who are learning as I am.

I know that it's an option with some games.

It is an option in all games, including Carcassonne.

I cannot find it in most games and I have clicked all around looking for it. Is it in a "general' preference section? I found it easily with KD, but have yet to find it elsewhere in any of the options.

Play Now -> Gear next to any favorited game -> If Player's Level isn't on the list displayed check Advanced Options and see if it's listed after that.

Thank you! I appreciate the help finding this option. I was trying to find it in game preferences and it was under table preferences. And for the games I found it I was using the settings under "play now". Anyway, I also appreciate it being explained so kindly.
