Hi
Just now I was participating in a elimination tournament and after a tie I got eliminated. On what condition did I got eliminated? Because all tie breakers that are listed for the game still resulted in a tie.
Kind Regards

In the case where a game truly ends in a tie and there are no other game specific tie breakers, the tournament will randomly choose who gets eliminated.

This is different from the case where the game ends in a "tie" because someone ran out of time and was skipped. In that case, people with the newest accounts are eliminated.

I believe that is inaccurate. I've never seen evidence for a different rule as between a "true tie" and a "booted tie" in a tournament game. See my comments here: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48539

In general see this thread, for information on how the software deals with ties in tournament games: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47591

Oops, I got confused because the player did post a case where the game ended in a tie, but the oldest account was eliminated. As stated in the second linked thread, single elimination ties do seem to be handled randomly, not by account age.
