Yesterday, the player Talented Taco matched against the player electrolled in Arena. Talented Taco won the game, which got them up to 2112 Arena points to solidify their position as one of contenders for the season win. Talented Taco is an obvious smurf account (which climbed to Master in very few games), and some of us had been suspicious before that electrolled might be the player behind it due to strikingly similar statistical profiles.
Lo and behold, both players share the same IP adress:
Either Talented Taco is electrolled's long-lost prodigy brother, or we are looking at someone playing against themselves to boost their rating. electrolled has been a prominent top player pretty much since the beginning of Ark Nova, so it would be very sad to see such a formidable player resort to such measures.
Of course, I am open to hearing different perspectives, or maybe electrolled themselves can shed some light on the situation.
