Anyone know if this is going to be the 'big cities' version or the normal version? I certainly prefer the latter as I feel like there's a lot less luck involved but what does everyone think?

There is yet NO choice to have the 1912 Expansion.

Only 2 choices : TTR Europe without Expansion with Turn order determined before or after selecting tickets.

Turn order determined before would be a nice addition to the rules. It's not so much impactful as on USA maybe, but it still matters.
Just be careful that it doesn't end up splitting the "non 1912" votes and let that crap of 1912 win

I'm a guru. I proposed a different option, but no one seems to be voting on it.

For me, Big Cities of Europe is the worst way to play this game. It just becomes too frustrating, because everyone pretty much always wants the same main routes. A large part of the map becomes undesirable.

Classic is fine, I enjoy playing it. I just think it places too much importance on the 8-train and 6-train routes. They're often more valuable than tickets, and that doesn't feel like great game design to me.

My favorite way to play is Mega Europe. With the tickets in the mix, the game becomes a lot more about getting and fulfilling as many tickets as you can. Players sprawl literally everywhere on the map, and every bit of the map can be valuable. Long routes are still valuable, but it's much more feasible to win without them because they take time to complete, and in that time you can be working towards 3 tickets at the same time while your opponent is still trying to get the 9th card of the same color.
