Give the ability to create tournaments with Swiss with cut (and set # of groups in group stage to 1)

Let's see if we can get this implemented. At the most basic it should be an easy fix to be able to set the # of groups to 1, and I think it would be a popular option given it's how many tournaments work in real life, and there's many different directions you can take it.

You know it's weird, the search feature in bugs section is near useless, because I searched for various terms, but it come back with nothing. But it clearly doesn't work because searching "tournament" also comes back with nothing, and I know that's not true.

Still, I will push for this to get implemented.

I found it with these search settings:

Report Source: BGA Website Reports
Report type: Website | suggestion: in my opinion, the following would greatly improve the website
Report contains: tournament

All other settings were left at their default values.
