Option for the release: Ban Drown your sorrows

I strongly suggest to have an option for the release to play without "Drown your sorrows". Not only because this card is insanely strong, but because it works against the basic idea of the game to balance your day to not get too many hardships. With this card all your hardships are like free muses that gain you two inspiration (like Alex). But you don' t have to pay to get them, they are given to you by game rules. So you soak up as much hardships as you can. In the end this card can win you the game alone on the board. And all hardships together can not stop you. 20 to 34 inspiration are normal in the last rounds. It's frustrating to have to watch out, that no other player gets this card and if you get it, you frustrate your opponents.

exactly you are right . This is a golden card, and whoever obtains it is extremely likely to win the game.

Discover yourself is on a similar note. If you have a lot of hardships, you will draw a lot of cards and gain a lot of inspiration. I'm not sure if it's totally against the point of the game. After buying any handful of cards it's not profitable to work, because hardships generally aren't that bad to dodge.

"Discover yourself" gives you 1 inspiration for each card you draw above 7. Let's for the sake of argument assume, you draw 8 hardships + your five normal cards. Makes 13 and that are 6 inspiration. That is good, but by far not broken as the 16 inspiration "Drown your sorrows" would give you in this case. If it is the only card you put in your day you can buy the maximum achievement. There are other good cards in this game. Like "Teach others your methods" and they will win you the also the game if uncontested. But they are not such broken, that some players hunt the first round for them, cleaning the market again and again.
