Tiles displayed on the desk

Post by Saperlipopette69 »

I'm new in the game and I don't understand the rule of "5 tiles displayed on the desk". Especially when playing a 2 players game. I read the rule, it says the last player in the turn has to pick a tile among 5 tiles displayed. But, when playing a 2 players game, because I started, I can only draw a hidden tile, I never get the displayed tiles... Did I miss something?

The rule is as follows:
The first player can only pick from the stack, and decide to claim it, or leave it on the table.
The next players have the same option (stack), or take one of the tiles previously left on the table. If you decide to go for reveling a new tile, then you can't change your mind and pick one already on the table.

Once there is exactly ONE player who has not claimed a tile (in a 2-player game, that of course happens once one player claims), the remaining stack is revealed at once. (Otherwise, the remaining player could just take one tile after the other until he/she has the same situation, so it is only a time-saving mechanism).
It is not the last player in order, just the last player still without a tile for this specific round.

I hope this helps!
Enjoy playing!
