Amen to that.

I googled it, and they are indeed omnivores; but omnivorous apparently doesn't mean INVERTEBRATE/SEED/FRUIT/FISH/RODENT, like in the game.

"Yes, hummingbirds are omnivores because they eat both plant matter (flower nectar and tree sap) and small animal protein (insects and spiders)."
So: INVERTEBRATE, FRUITS and ARACHNIDS (closest to fish, I guess).
But they don't eat seed or rodent.

Many birds in the game are waaaay more OMNIVOROUS than the Hummingbirds.

Arachnids are plain invertebrates, close to insects if you want. Are you thinking of crustaceans (crabs, etc.)? Those may look close to fish because they're mostly aquatic, but still invertebrates. But yeah, they could count as "fish" (kinda "seafood") for Wingspan purposes.

I guess I thought of arachnids a step closer to fish, than molluscs or dust mites. 😔
I also mistook spiders.
For some reason, I didn't consider them invertebrates; thanks for clearing things up. 🤪
