Coloretto player distinction when they've taken a row

Post by Needs_more_dog »

Am I the only one who can't tell who's taken a row in Coloretto? See below. Without referring to the player log at the right (which if someone took a row early, that information is well down off the screen) I can't tell who's taken a row. I know that that whoever has taken is slightly dimmer but it's very subtle. Would it be possible to make that several shades darker or have some other indicator by there name. Or maybe add their name or color to the darkened card in the taken row (the one by the untaken cards) that would show who took the row. Anyone else agree we need this? We play this game turn based (along with 10+ other games at the same time) and I can't remember off top of my head from one day to the next (averaging one move per day in all turn based games) who has already taken. I don't really want to scroll down or starting counting taken cards, a quick glance should be all that's necessary (clearly that was intended already, it's just very subtle). Thanks.

You don't actually have to see who has taken a row -- Just look at who is left, which will be the top [(player number) - (players who have taken a row)] lines of the log. Everyone else will have taken a row...

Granted, it isn't quite as obvious as their player color/background changing massively, but it doesn't require scrolling through the logs.

+1
i agree that when you have to play, it is important to know who is not playing anymore.
Could you change the background color to black or dark grey after taking a row?
thanks

Or at least some icon like the row card to indicate the person has taken a row.

Sure you can scroll for a small game but for larger games be nice to know instantly vs have to read the log. More so for offline turn based games.
