Random Switch Up of Screen Configuration

Every once in a while the configuration of my screen changes so that the game is squeezed onto the left side and the scoring and logs are shown on the right side. I play on a tablet held vertically and this reduces the size of the game board and makes it very difficult to play. When this occurs, I have been unable to switch it back to "normal," even though I have refreshed, changed games, logged completely out and signed back in multiple times. I am left with no choice but to play at a disadvantage until eventually the display resets itself. I've also checked the setting for displaying logs at the bottom or at the right, but toggling between them has no effect. Open to any guidance or suggestions on how to deal with this issue!
