Season 27 will start in roughly 4 days from now. All arena seasons last for 90 days.

I came to bga because I heard about the world championship online. What bga setting is correct for people who have two nationalities or live in a different country than their nationality? Can I choose whichever one I want? Do you decide based on country of passport or residence?

I assume those who have a dual nationality representing both of the designated "hemispheres" can simply choose whichever suits them at the time of verification. E.g. if the three top players were eastern and you came in fourth you would naturally choose western in order to qualify and vice versa.
But you need to actually have that nationality. Place of residence will not do. I assume a passport would be the go to document for verifying nationality.

BGA should not be used to qualify for the world championship. there is a huge cheating problem on BGA and you will just get the two players who are the best at cheating
