Is anyone truly enjoying this arena season?

I understand Gurus voted to include Starry Skies this arena season, yes. Yet I think it flips the core game + From Below expansion on its head. Because of this, I think this arena season's format, and Starry Skies, is bad and unfun.

My arena opponents have said the same.

Le jeu passe désormais de 50/50 a 70/30 selon moi et même peut être 80/20.

If you are more familiar with the Starry Skies expansion and your arena opponents are still learning it, then yes I can see that contributing to the 70/30 win ratio you mentioned. But that data is anecdotal and early, and where this is the first season to introduce Starry Skies, the sample size is small.

Starry Skies takes the build right, score left mechanic that defined the game and turned it on its head. It’s a completely different experience and one I wish wasn’t forced in arena.

I really like the expansion because you can’t completely ignore the build left to right mechanic, but you can avoid it for key cards. This adds a new layer of taking the meteor cards for their potential contribution down the line even if they themselves don’t score you a lot of points. My main issue with expansion is that a few cards like the double map card are completely broken in a starting hand. If I see the meteor version of 5 in my starting hand I feel like I’ve already won.
