When you click on a game's page and view the rankings, there's only one rankings table.
A lot of games have different variants like Expert, Long Game, Tactics etc. The players who are in the top tier of the rankings are usually the ones playing one of these variants of the game. It's expected, because the expert kind of variants tend to minimise luck so a player who only plays an expert variant and becomes good at it will win more games than the player playing the more random basic game.
It would be nice to see a ranking table for each game just using the basic rules and have the variant players ranking table separate. After all, the main rules page for any game is the normal game. The Variant of the game normally gets a paragraph on the last page and the majority of players will never play it.
For example, 6 Nimmt has a little luck to it but less so if you play the professional or tactics version so it stands to reason that the latter players will dominate the rankings table compared to the ones who play the more random normal version of the game.
But it would be interesting to see what ELO the top players have at the normal version of each game and compare it with the variant players.
So my suggestion is two ranking tables per game. One for the standard basic game & a separate rankings table for variant players.
