BGA is lagging today, it has server issues once more, this affects the extension's ability to track tables etc. It is temporary.

That's a very old error message—I'll have to remember to update it someday to make it easier to understand—but yes, it was indeed caused by a temporary issue on the site.

I just released a new version, 2.1.2.

The big change in this version is under the hood: dark mode fixes for games can now be delivered without releasing a new version of the extension. When a game breaks or a new one comes out, the fix reaches you within the hour, with no need to wait for the Chrome or Firefox store review.

This version also supports the new replay page of BGA (dark mode and the movable replay controls). It also adds or improves dark mode for Abyss, Hegemony of Faith, Schadenfreude and Summy.

Nice!! Though admittedly, I switch back and forth between your dark mode and native these days - whichever one seems to work better gets used.

Feel free to let me know about any issues you notice with the extension's dark mode compared to the native mode ;)
It'll help the user community.

I'm having issues with certain tournament tables where they appear to be real-time despite the fact that they're actually turn-based

I do report bugs with individual games (and it's been a long while since I've seen one), but the last time I switched seemed to be due to some site issues that you hadn't fixed yet (but I knew you'd be aware of and fixing anyway). I'm currently running with the extension, and it actually is my preference.
