problem buying a tile from the centre

Hi all. My understanding is that you can buy a centre tile once per round. My last 2 games only let me buy one per entire game. Anyone else have this? is it a bug or have I somehow changed my settings? tia

You should be allowed 1 per game round indeed. Given the age of this game and how often people make use of this I would be very surprised if it was a bug in the implementation.

That said the UI is clunky and it's not always apparent how things work and when you can do things. (You are for example normally not allowed to buy between placing a castle and doing the action, at least not in first edition)

If you would like help in finding out the problem you should post a link to the game and explain at what turn and situation you were trying to buy but couldn't.

There was a small mistake in a new version of the game quickly fixed in another version. But if you started your game between the 2 versions, you'd need to refresh your page to have it working again.

I'll double check they there is no remaining issue.

Edit: the second fix wasn't deployed as expected. It should be now!
